After learning he is sterile, detective Hollis Lucetti decides to confront his wife, the mother of two children he had always thought were his. But his plans are interrupted when he is called to help with a suicide attempt by a young atheist named Gavin Nichols. From the heights of a skyscraper, while the detective tries to convince Gavin not to jump, the two share memories and experiences, which helps them to reevaluate their own lives. Chosen for competition at the Sundance Film Festival 2011.

Director

Born in 1950 in England. He is a filmmaker, journalist and writer, having directed films like Heart of Midnight (1988), awarded Best Film in the Festival de Sitges. He wrote the scripts for productions like Consenting Adults (1992), Alan J. Pakula, Color of Night (1994), by Richard Rush, and Runaway Jury (2003), by Gary Fleder. He also wrote additional dialogues for High Art (1991), by Walter Salles.
